1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, contacting us, or commencing an Engagement with the Bureau, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law.

3. Service Description

The Bureau provides purely administrative document coordination services for households managing retirement-related paperwork. Services currently offered are:

All services are available to households within the Klang Valley and broader Selangor area. Services are delivered in English and Bahasa Malaysia. No service provided by the Bureau constitutes financial advice, legal advice, accounting advice or any other form of regulated professional advice.

4. Scope and Limitations

The Bureau's work is strictly administrative. It covers sorting, indexing, scanning, labelling and writing plain-language documents that describe what a household holds and where it is kept. The Bureau does not:

Questions that require professional judgement are listed in the Deliverable as open items and the Client is recommended to consult a suitably qualified professional.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

6. Payment Terms

All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is due as set out in the written engagement confirmation, typically:

Payment is accepted by bank transfer. All prices are inclusive of applicable Malaysian taxes unless stated otherwise. Late payments may be subject to a charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding amount.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Sessions cancelled with more than 5 working days' notice may be rescheduled without charge. Cancellations with fewer than 5 working days' notice may incur a fee equivalent to 25% of the session value. Engagements cancelled after commencement will be billed for the proportion of work completed.

7. Confidentiality

The Bureau treats all household information as confidential. Coordinator notes and working files are not shared with any third party and are deleted within 30 days of Engagement completion. Deliverables are provided only to the Client. The Bureau's confidentiality obligation survives termination of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Deliverables produced during an Engagement become the property of the Client on full payment of the agreed fee. The Bureau retains the right to use its own templates, methodologies and process documentation for other clients. The Client may not reproduce or distribute the Bureau's proprietary templates or methodology documentation without written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The Bureau makes no representation as to the completeness of any document inventory — only documents that were physically accessible and shown to the coordinator during the session can be mapped. The Bureau does not verify the authenticity, currency or legal validity of any document. Deliverables reflect administrative observations only and do not constitute legal, financial or professional opinions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, the Bureau's total liability to a Client in connection with any Engagement shall not exceed the total fee paid for that Engagement. The Bureau shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from the use of or reliance on a Deliverable. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the Bureau against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, from inaccurate information you provided during the Engagement, or from any use of a Deliverable that is outside its stated administrative purpose.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an Engagement by written notice. The Bureau may terminate if the Client materially breaches these Terms and does not remedy the breach within 7 days of written notice. On termination, the Bureau will deliver a Deliverable reflecting the work completed to date, and fees will be calculated accordingly.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree first to attempt resolution through good-faith written communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to a mediator under the Mediation Act 2012 (Malaysia). Failing mediation, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

The Bureau may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Engagements already in progress at the time of an update are governed by the Terms in effect when that Engagement was confirmed in writing.
